Different system types

With Solar Electricity there are four main types, in this section we describe each type of option.

This type of system allows sell back to the grid. The inverter works in a blended mode allowing for greater KW usage during the day or if storage is added at night as well. The inverter uses the solar energy for the house loads first and then sells the remainder to the electric company.

This system is designed for homes that do not have a grid supply. The system stores all surplus power in Lithium storage modules and releases the energy when solar is not available. It is advised that a generator is installed at the same time in the event of a period of little sunlight

This system is very similar to a pure off-grid system but where Grid power is available. The system has the advantage of insulation itself from the grid unless the storage falls below a set parameter and will then use grid electric to continue operation. One other advantage is that if the grid power is cut the power to the house will continue unabated.

This system is designed for homes where the installation of solar panels is not allowed or possible. It relies on a variable rate contract that has cheap rate electricity a various times of day. The system consist of an intelligent inverter and lithium storage to store the cheap electricity and use it during the higher priced times of the day.
